FULL-TIME

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Conduct industry and company-level research to identify private companies aligned with private equity client mandates and specific investment theses.
Learn and apply AlphaCurrent’s proprietary research methodology to validate opportunities using both public and private data sources.
Use Claude and other AI tools extensively to streamline research workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve speed and quality of deliverables.
Explore AI-assisted automation and “vibe coding”, using prompts to build scripts, lightweight tools, and process improvements for sourcing, enrichment, and internal operations.
Identify and verify founders, owners, CEOs, presidents, and key decision-makers, ensuring accurate company and contact data is captured for client-facing workflows.
Maintain and update Salesforce CRM and internal target trackers, while collaborating directly with founding partners on active mandates, internal meetings, and ad-hoc research projects.

YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE/ARE:

Highly analytical and naturally curious, with a strong interest in private markets, investing, business research, or deal origination.
Comfortable using Claude, ChatGPT, or other frontier AI tools as daily work tools to improve productivity and research output.
Detail-oriented and process-driven, able to maintain accurate data, clean CRM records, and organized research pipelines.
Resourceful and fast-learning, able to learn new software in real time and independently solve research or workflow challenges.
Familiar with or interested in learning basic Python, SQL, scripting, or AI-assisted development to improve workflows.
Experienced with or exposed to Salesforce, Grata, PitchBook, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar research/data platforms.
