IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Provide administrative support, answering phones, managing day-to-day communications, organizing emails, and scheduling appointments while ensuring important messages are prioritized.
Serve as the first point of contact for clients, answering basic tax-related questions and verifying client-submitted documents.
Manage client intake and tax-season workflow, ensuring all information is accurately captured through the website’s New Client Information Form and required documents are organized for preparation.
Support email, portal, and website tasks, including Constant Contact management, LinkedIn updates, QuickBooks/portal troubleshooting, and implementing simple automations or AI tools to improve efficiency.
Assist with basic tax-related support, identifying common tax documents and navigating the Drake portal to provide accurate guidance to clients.
(Optional/Nice-to-Have) Perform bookkeeping tasks, including bank reconciliations, reviewing balance sheets, and correcting errors in QuickBooks for low-level clients.
YOU WILL SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
Comfortable handling client communications professionally via phone, email, and portals.
Familiar with basic tax terminology and documents to accurately guide clients and verify submissions.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workflows during peak tax season.
Tech-savvy, able to learn and troubleshoot software tools, portals, and integrations, including AI tools for process improvement.
Able to follow instructions carefully, maintain accuracy in documentation, and support team processes consistently.
(Nice-to-Have) Experience with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping to review financial statements and perform reconciliations.
